Projecting your brand onto a potential new product can be a powerful experience, both for existing and prospective clients. To enable clients to see the potential benefits of integrating our 1App feature set, we created a number of fictional brands in the restaurant, hospital, and hotel/casino space. These brands allowed us to prototype and test ideas, as well as create marketing collateral to showcase to potential new clients. Our first attempt with the mascot Rusty was a success in breaking into the fast food segment of the restaurant space, and we soon developed identities for multiple niches within the restaurant space. These demos showcase the many situations in which we used and showcased these fictitious brands, highlighting the power of seamless graphic design, art direction, and UI/UX design to enhance their brands and drive brand loyalty.


Don’t Be Like Rusty

Rusty was our first foray into creating a memorable character or mascot for marketing campaigns. Our concept behind Rusty was to evoke the image of forgotten Americana, a relic from a bygone era that was out of touch with the mobile generation. The goal was to communicate to restaurant clients that without a solid mobile strategy and delightful mobile experiences, they risked being no different from Rusty.

Imagine A World Where…

As part of our pitch materials, we recognized the importance of showing our clients how our strategies could work for their specific industry. To achieve this, we created a set of generic brands that represented different verticals, such as healthcare and fast food. These brands were intentionally designed to be versatile and adaptable, allowing our clients to envision themselves in those brand's place and understand how our strategies could be tailored to meet their unique needs. By using these generic brands in our pitch materials, we were able to demonstrate the effectiveness of our value proposition in a way that was both relatable and applicable to our clients' industries.

The illustration to the right showcases the navigation capabilities of the 1app platform to hospitals. Created as part of a marketing campaign, it was used in marketing emails, print collateral and landing pages to demonstrate the potential of an integrated intelligent hospital. St. Johns was used as a generic hospital to help clients envision the benefits of such a system for their own patients and guests. The inclusion of Señor Burger as a partner brand emphasizes the value that an integrated system can bring to guest experiences. The illustration highlights how 1app can improve communication, efficiency, and convenience in healthcare settings while improving the overall patient and guest experience.

The Steakout

The Steak Out brand was developed to meet the demand for a high-end, hip restaurant experience. With its origins in either London or New York, the brand's single, acclaimed location offers a unique and upscale dining experience.

Señor Burger

Señor Burger is a fast-casual restaurant and tequila bar with six locations across Los Angeles and two mobile food trucks. Señor Burger’s locally-sourced, fresh ingredients create an unforgettable dining experience. Señor Burger’s signature burgers, delicious sides, and refreshing beverages, are all served in a vibrant and casual atmosphere.

Porkie’s

Porkie's BBQ is a fictitious restaurant and bar with a strong Texan vibe. With 20 locations across the state, Porkie's flagship venue in Austin doubles as a live music venue. The restaurant specializes in slow-cooked, mouthwatering barbecue dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Whether you're in the mood for ribs, brisket, or pulled pork, Porkie's BBQ has got you covered.

Pizza Stop

Pizza Stop is a fast-food pizza chain with around 120 locations throughout the Midwest. With a focus on fast and convenient service, Pizza Stop aims to provide delicious, fresh-made pizza to customers on-the-go. With the 1App feature set, Pizza Stop can offer even more value to their customers, such as easy ordering, personalized deals, and streamlined checkout.

St.Johns

St. Johns - A modern hospital prototype designed for large national and smaller mid-level hospitals. Created to pitch prototypes to existing hospital clients and entice new clients in the hospital vertical to work with us. Drawing on years of experience working with mid-level hospitals at various ad agencies and knowledge gained from working with large hospitals at 1app, this simple and modern concept is meant to cater to a wide range of hospital needs.

The Ace of Spades

The Ace of Spades is a captivating hotel, casino, and resort that was designed to prototype and showcase the latest and greatest designs for MGM properties and Hard Rock properties. We also utilized Ace of Spades in marketing collateral to attract the interest of mid-level and international companies within the casino industry. Our vision for Ace of Spades is a modern and sophisticated casino, while still embracing the Las Vegas tradition of having a unique "gimmick". The brand's concept is that it embodies a level of maturity and elegance that sets it apart from other hotels on the Strip, and also embraces its identity as "where the music lives"
