Star-Lord

"Star-lord? Who?" was a very typical reaction to the name of Star-Lord before the film Guardians of the Galaxy was released. Star-Lord as depicted in Guardians of the Galaxy is a much more light hearted character than how I portrayed him in this image. The inspiration for piece was actually taken from a joke in the Austin Powers film Goldmember. In Goldmember Austin Power's father says "Have you got any idea how many anonymous henchmen I've killed over the years?" while fighting a legion of Dr.Evil's minions. I chose to portray Star-Lord through the lens that an anonymous henchman would see him in. If you see Star-Lord it’s not a good day for you.
